The Charity
Joey was a friend to everyone. His infectious spirit continues to inspire people today, even those who never had the opportunity to meet him. The goal of the foundation is to honor him by awarding college scholarships to graduating high school seniors with the same zest for life that Joey displayed daily. The generous support from the community and corporate sponsors allowed us to award over $41,000 in scholarships to eighteen students since 2016.
This tournament is a way to accomplish our goal while allowing his memory to live on. For friends, family, and coworkers to gather and renew our own spirit through fellowship. For new friends to learn how wonderful a person he was. To ensure that his name continues to be spoken for the next generation. Thank you for helping us realize this worthy vision.
